How is my personal information protected from theft?

SnoWest Online uses SSL (Secure Socket Layers) encryption technology, the standard for ensuring secure data transmission across the Internet. SSL ensures that the data you provide us can only be read by SnoWest Online servers. When you purchase an item from us, your credit card number is stored in a location that is not accessible to the Internet.

Because of the importance we place on security, your browser must support SSL for you to participate in any of the site's interactive functions, including online purchasing. If your browser does not support SSL, you can place orders by postal mail or by fax..

If you feel uncomfortable sending your credit card information over the Web, we offer you an additional option to complete your order and pay by personal check or money order .


Return Policy

While you may cancel your membership at any time, no refunds are available for paid memberships to the SnoWest Online forums. Activation of your account granting you full access to the SnoWest Online forums constitutes completion of your purchase. Violation of published SnoWest Online forums member policies resulting in termination of your account, shall not constitute grounds for either a full or partial refund.

Shipping Method

As an online community, memberships to SnoWest Online do not require any physical delivery of tangible goods. Memberships exist solely in the domain of the Internet, and nothing is shipped or mailed to our Forum customers.

((NOTE: At this time we are not offering any hard goods for sale, but we anticipate offering logo wear and promotional items in the future. When that happens, the following policy will apply for all shipments))

SHIPPING for Hard Goods

SnoWest Online offers several domestic and international shipping options for your convenience. All shipments are made through the United States Postal System.

Domestic USA Shipping options:
USPS Media Mail: 2-3 weeks average.
USPS 1st Class Mail: 7-10 days average.
USPS Priority Mail: 3-4 business days average.

Final shipping rates are determined by the total shipped weight of the product & packaging, plus a small handling fee. The final amount is displayed in advance next to each of the available shipping options for you to choose from prior to finalizing your order invoice. Insurance is listed on those shipping methods that allow it.

Priority, and Express orders received before 5:00 p.m. (U.S. Mountain Time) Monday through Friday will be shipped the next day. Priority Orders received after 5:00 p.m. (U.S. Mountain Time), or on Saturday or Sunday, will be shipped the following Tuesday. We do not process any orders on Saturday or Sunday. Delivery times of APO/FPO orders denote the time the order will arrive at the U.S. entry point into the military postal system, and not the final delivery to the addressee.

Shipping Options for Canada
USPS Economy Surface: 4-6 weeks (average.)
USPS Airmail Letter Post:1-2 weeks (average.)
USPS Global Priority Mail: 4-6 business days (average.)

Canadian shipments may be subject to goods and services tax, provincial sales tax, duties, or handling fees based on the product, amount of purchase, and the province.

All shipments to Canada will be shipped via the U.S. Postal Service. An additional handling fee of CN $5.00 and GST on non-prescribed goods may be charged by the local post office.

Shipping Options for International
Delivery Times

The shipping times for Standard Mail refer to the amount of time it takes for the package to be delivered to the destination country. Once the local postal system of the destination country receives the package they will make the delivery arrangements. SnoWest Online and the U.S. Postal Service have no control over the package once it is in the hands of the local post office. Actual delivery times may vary from country to country. Most delays in international deliveries are due to customs, import duties, or local postal guidelines.

Customs

Customs and import fees are the responsibility of the customer/recipient. These charges will vary from country to country and change from time to time. (Brazil and Peru, in particular, are reportedly taxing imports at rates as high as 100% of the declared value.) Unfortunately we are unable to determine what these fees will be, nor will we be responsible for them. We recommend international customers contact their local customs office for details on how these charges are assessed and collected.

Mexico, South Africa, Central and South America

Due to past problems with postal theft, customers shipping to Mexico, South Africa, Central and South America may not choose the Standard (Surface) shipping option. Orders to these destinations can be sent via Standard (Air) or Global Priority only.

Taxes / Fees All other international and local duties, taxes, and fees are the responsibility of the customer.

Important Shipping Facts

All "gift" shipments (merchandise being shipped to an address different from the billing address) will add one extra day to the availability time.

Occasionally some items are on "backorder" with an uncertain availability date. These items will not be separated from your main order unless we are told by you to do so and will only be shipped with the entire order when the product becomes available

Yes. You can update your personal information by clicking on the USER-CP at the top left of any SnoWestOnline forum page.. From there, you can change any personal account information including, address, phone, e-mail, payment method, ect.
